Jeremy
Hill, bass player from Waitsfield VT, performs regularly in a variety
of settings with many of New England's finest musicians. In his role as
bassist for Portsmouth NH's Seacoast Big Band, he has
performed with American jazz legends Clark Terry, Milt Jackson, Jimmy
Heath, Nicholas Payton, Bob Wilbur, and "Slide" Hampton.
Schooled in the classical tradition, Jeremy performs with
orchestras such as the Portland Symphony, the Hanover Chamber Orchestra,
and smaller ensembles who feature the works of composers old and new.
Relatively new to the Vermont scene, Jeremy is now the bassist
for two of Burlington's hottest musical acts; Jazz/Blues singer Jenni
Johnson, and the Salsa/Merengue ensemble Grupo Sabor.
